(This document covers version 1.0.3 of the 'Morph To' behavior, current as of 2005-Feb-14)
Description
Morph models
must have the same number of vertices
.
Morphing from the parent model to the end model does not ‘lose’ the information about the original model’s geometry. Invoking the
Set Morph
action with a value of
50
will cause the parent model to be halfway between the original. Invoking it again with a value of
25
will cause it to go closer to the original model (25% of the way from the original to the
End Model
, not 25% from the current model to the end model).
Morphing a model affects all objects in the scene which use that same model in the library; to morph only a single object, re-import the model into the library, so that the object in the scene is using a different library resource.
Invoking the
Set Morph
action automatically stops
Morph to Start
or
Morph to End
if they are***nning.
Basic Properties
End Model
The destination model to morph to.
Morph Time
The number of seconds it takes to transition from the parent to the end model.
Actions
Morph to End
Morph to the end model over time.
Morph to Start
Morph to the original model over time.
Stop Morph
Stop the morph immediately.
Set Morph
Set the morph percentage between the parent and end models.
